If you live in Scotland and have witnessed the epic wet-ness that was today then you may answer 'no' - i'm of course speaking metaphorically.

Today, was an unexpected good day - something I didn't quite see coming. It, on first glance this morning, looked as if it was going to be terrible - hour at uni, wait about, meetu p with folk, go home, mope. Instead, it was good for a few different reasons, i'd like to explain.

1. I bought a CD. After the Pirate Bay was introduced into my life, CDs became obsolete and lost all value to me. Since the beginning of the year i've bought two CDs (including ths one) - Muse - The Resistance, and todays buy - 'Demolition' by Ryan Adams. I'll go onto talk about that CD in my next post, but I listened to it and it was excellent. Although some would say it was depressing, buying a CD and listening to it all was amazing - I love every track on it. It's nice to fall in love with music again.

2. I went on a drive with my dad. It was actually excellent - we went around the Trossachs area and went to a cafe and stuff and listened to Ryan Adams. Plus, it was raining and cloudy, which made the lovely scenery moody, therefore brilliant. I'll need to bring my camera next time, but it was nice to see places and get my mind of stuff.

3. I got to wear a scarf and jacket. Such things may seem odd to you, but me being able to wear these two items of clothing is brilliant - jackets are awesome, and winter is coming, so it's all good.

4. I met new people. Yeah, there is someone in Stirling who loves Final Fantasy 7 as much as I do! Good times.

Although these four reasons may not seem that brilliant, they were a good distraction and I had a fun day. Bring on the moping.

Mark, out.
