Hello, apologies to all in regards to the short and sweet blog post that was sent last night - I was in a rather angry mood on account of walking out my house (more on that later!) and getting coined by some drunken chav. And also having a really minging pizza, add that on to that list.
Anyway, today was alright, I handed in the 1,586 worded blight on the earth that was my linguistics essay - clearly you can see it was hardly my best work. Also, I decided (and don't ask me how, it must have came to me in a moment of pure madness :|), rather than doing the traditional essay that we can do for English, i'd try my hand at writing a sonnet. Yes, you heard me correctly. A sonnet. A 14 lined, iambic pentametred response to any poem in the 'Norton Anthology Of Poetry'. Wish me luck.
Also today, I met another person in Stirling who likes Final Fantasy! S'always a good thing when that happens, there aren't nearly enough people on the planet who like that franchise enough. This was what probably prompted me to watch FFVII: Advent Children Complete (again) tonight, I have to say, it might actually get even better the more I watch it.
One thing I would say is, there was no need to throw in the flashback just before Aeris died. It upsets me :( On that note of Aeris, did anyone ever think of this - WHY THE HELL DID SHE HAVE TO DIE?! Bloody Cait Sith died and then came back to life again, why couldn't it happen to Aeris? If only Cait Sith was the one who had to summon Holy. No one likes Cait Sith anyway.
Yeah, back to paragraph one, some general guidelines on walking out your house and what doesn't create any kind of dramatic effect -
- Waiting until you've finished your tea. (Which, incidently was that minging pizza.)
- Saying 'bye!' (In a cheery voice.)
- Actually coming back the same night. (Speaks for itself.)
Aside from that, the whole experience was rather fun, even only lasting for a few hours.
A fun filled few nights, then.
Mark, out.
